We advocate for young women on issues that matter to them. In 2010, the YWCA of Wellington have identified the following advocacy issues to concentrate on:
- Alcohol
- Emergency housing for Women in Wellington
- Sexual health and reproductive rights
- Violence against Women.
We advocate and assist young women that wish to advocate for themselves and other young women in the region. Advocacy might take place through submissions, supporting established campaigns to achieving awareness or responding and networking with key messages to decision and policy makers.
